ABOUT ME

Amanda lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with her husband and two children. When she is not writing, she enjoys working full time, singing, crocheting, knitting and travelling. She aspires to bring a bit of her hometown and country into her writing. One day she hopes to write the next "great Canadian novel". Until then she aspires to entertain.

EXPERIENCE

Amanda's dream of  being a writer began many years ago when she wrote a poem for a children's author conference. It was read aloud to all of the authors in attendance. Since that day she has never looked back and has always wanted to be a writer in "... a room of her own."  

Along the Pipelines is Amanda's first self-published novel. She began writing this work in October 2010 as a participant of Nanowrimo.  

She is currently working on her next novel, The Guests (working title), with the hopes to publish it in 2022.
